I was looking over political cartoons today and I had an idea. Maybe we should in some way integrate the whole 'gun control' topic into the story. I'm not sure how, but I saw a really moving cartoon that I'd like to share:

and yet, I'm not sure what to write about today. drat... I will think on it some.

Oh yeah... as for the tense. I've been writing so far in past and present tense, but mostly in past as I envision it. But we can do whatever works, baby.

Eric August - badass
Eric is pretty much your self-assured, together kind of guy. He's very observant and would prefer to listen and observe before revealing anything about himself. This gives him an advantage in contests of wills. Eric is slow to speak and remembers little details about all of the people he comes into contact with. He serves as the perfect foil for AJ's quick to speak, smart ass attitude.
In situations of conflict, Eric is calm and collected.
An overall badass... that's my boy Eric.
